Catherine Crooker -The Power of Shifting Our Beliefs -
Tuesday Jun 04, 2019
Tuesday Jun 04, 2019
The Power of Shifting Our Beliefs -“Don’t believe everything you think.” Catherine Crooker noticed a car with a bumper sticker on it, saying, “Don’t believe everything you think.” This ah ha” moment prompted her to expand that thought with “Don’t assume your view is the only view.” And frankly, “your view may need an upgrade or do over”. Statistics show that Women dominate in volunteer roles and in the Non-profit field as primary contributors. Catherine has noticed that women who ultimately raise millions of dollars helping organizations to realize, and fulfill organizations fundraising goals, are not considered for primary leadership positions in the fundraising community. Catherine is bold in her belief that it is time to shift how women see themselves in raising, handling, and asking for money, not only in places we volunteer and work, but for ourselves as well! It is necessary to ask for more, see ourselves with more and to value ourselves for bringing so much more to the table. Catherine inspires us to lift our thinking to a bold new vision and reeducate our minds by shifting our beliefs, opening space for amazing things to happen. She tells us not to be stuck on what we see in the rearview mirror.
